Duration
Winterfest 2019 released on December 18th across all platforms and has a span of about two weeks. It is set to end just after the New Year on January 2nd. So if you're unable to play Fortnite for some time during the holiday season, Epic Games is giving you ample time to log in to the game and check out some of the challenges and free rewards out.
Presents
One of the central components of Winterfest 2019 is the Christmas Lodge that's accessible on the Fortnite home screen when you first open the game. Visiting the lodge will bring you to a very scenic and comforting cabin. You will see Christmas favorite skin Crackshot seated by the fire. All around the cabin are presents big and small. During Winterfest 2019, players can open one present each day. There are so many presents to choose from, and Epic even allows you to shake the present beforehand so you can try to guess what’s inside.
There's one catch to these presents, though. On the left side of the lodge, there's a very tall present in the back. This present is reserved for the very last one, and it is rumored to be a free skin as well! No one knows the full list of rewards that players can obtain while opening these presents, but people have taken to social media to share what they've obtained from each present.
